November 13, 2010 – TCU defeated the San Diego State Aztecs in their final home game of the season and the final game at the old Amon G. Carter Stadium. The final score was 40-35.

Battle for the Iron Skillet – SMU v. TCU
October 3, 2009 – Fort Worth, Texas – SMU travelled to Fort Worth to take on the 11th ranked TCU Horned Frogs in the annual battle for the Iron Skillet. In a rain soaked game, SMU forced three first half turnovers and scored the first touchdown of the game to take a 7-0 lead, but then TCU scored 25 unanswered points to put the game out of reach. The final score was TCU 39- SMU 14.
