LSU v. Oregon
September 3, 2011 – LSU and Oregon opened their seasons at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas in the Cowboys Classic. It was a good game with lots of energy (as expected from a matchup of two top 10 teams). LSU took control early in the second half and came away with a 40-27 win.
I shot LSU in the Cotton Bowl earlier in the year, and was asked by one of the mothers of one of the LSU Golden Girls to take some pictures of the girls again during this game, so a lot of the pictures here are of the Golden Girls, but I think I got a couple decent action shots as well. Hope you like them.

SMU football 2011
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the first four games I have shot of the SMU Mustangs during the 2011 season. So far they are off to a 4-1 start and are receiving votes for the Top 25 after their 40-33 victory over TCU. 
Ticketcity Bowl – Texas Tech v. Northwestern
January 1, 2011 – I shot the inaugural Ticketcity Bowl at the Cotton Bowl Stadium. The game featured a lot of offense with the final score being Texas Tech 45 – Northwestern 38.
Cotton Bowl 2011
January 7, 2011: the 75th Annual Cotton Bowl Classic was held at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas and featured the LSU Tigers of the SEC and the Texas A&M Aggies from the Big 12. The Aggies took a quick 10-0 lead in the first quarter, but it was really all LSU after that with the Tigers winning the game 41-24.

Armed Forces Bowl – SMU v. Army 12-30-2010
The Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl moved from Fort Worth to Dallas this year as TCU’s Amon Carter Stadium undergoes renovations. This year’s game at SMU’s Ford Stadium featured the Army Black Knights and the SMU Mustangs. A record crowd of 36,742 watched as Army prevailed 16-14.

Texas A&M v. Texas
November 25, 2010 – I happened to be in Austin on Thanksgiving and had the opportunity to shoot the Texas/Texas A&M game. This a classic rivalry game, and was a lot of fun to shoot (even though it was really cold). Texas A&M won the game 24-17.
